1. From the Home screen, select Video Library.
2. Locate the movie or TV show you want to watch and select Watch Now or
Resume (if you previously didn't finish the video) to begin streaming the movie
or TV show.
To watch Prime Instant Video movies or TV shows:
1. From the Home screen, navigate to the Prime Video category. You can also browse the
Recently Added to Prime or Top Movies and TV on Prime lists on the Home screen
or in the Movies and TV categories.
2. Locate the movie or TV show you want to watch and select the video artwork to start
streaming the movie or TV show at no additional cost if you are an Amazon Prime
member or you have a Prime Instant Video monthly subscription.
Note: Your Video Library includes all the Amazon Instant Video movies and TV shows you've
purchased and active rentals, but does not include the movies and TV shows that you watched
through Prime Instant Video. Content you purchase is stored in the Cloud and available to stream to
your Amazon Fire TV. Movies and TV shows from third-party apps, such as Netflix and Sky News, can
be accessed directly from the apps in the Apps section, not the Video Library.

Use Amazon Fire TV as a Display Mirroring Destination

You can wirelessly display your compatible phone or tablet screen and audio on your Amazon Fire TV.
You can mirror your display most phones or tablets that are Miracast-certified. Some certified devices
include:

Amazon Fire phone
o
Kindle Fire HDX tablet
o
Devices running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) or higher. Performance may vary.
Note: Before you begin, make sure your Amazon Fire TV and Miracast-certified device are turned on
and within 30 feet of each other.
If you want to display a device that is not registered to the same Amazon account as your Amazon
Fire TV, you will need to make your Amazon Fire TV discoverable for Guest Display Mirroring:
1. On your Fire TV select Settings
2. On your Miracast-certified device, connect to your Fire TV (see table below).

Steps

Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings, and then tap
Settings.

Tap Display & Sounds, and then tap Display Mirroring. Your Amazon Fire
TV device should appear in the list of Devices.

Select your Amazon Fire TV. It may take up to 20 seconds for your Kindle
Fire HDX screen to appear on your TV screen. To stop mirroring your
Kindle Fire, tap Stop Mirroring.
