TERMINATOR RESISTORS
The Model FDl165 is shipped with terminator resistor arrays
RNI and RN2 installed as shown in Figure 2-11.
Do not re-
move these resistors when only a single disk drive is used
in a system.
Do not remove these resistors when two or more
disk
drive~
are connected in parallel to a single controller
(see Figure 2-12A).
However, when two or more disk drives
are connected in ser ies to a single con troller, remove RNI
and RN2
from each disk dr ive except
the
last
one
in
the
circuit (see Figure 2-12B).
