Selecting AF Area Mode

When Single Area AF mode is
selected, you may designate the
focus area, and that choice remains
unchanged regardless of subject
movement. A

You may alternately choose any one
of the five available focus areas. In
Single Area AF mode, the sensor
calculates the focused distance by
using the selected focus area
exclusively.
Press and hold the AF area mode
[+]
button and rotate the Main-
Command dial to select Single
Area AF or Dynamic AF mode.
