Set contrast

Adjust the screen brightness to a comfortable level,
from 1 to 4.
Press MENU -> press
1.
LCD contrast -> press SELECT.
2. Press / to choose from 1, 2, 3 or 4.
Press SELECT to confirm.

Set dial mode

The dial mode is preset to touch-tone dialing. If you
have pulse (rotary) service, you must change the dial
mode to pulse dialing before using the telephone.
Press MENU -> press
1.
-> press SELECT.
2. Press / to choose from Touch tone or Pulse.
Press SELECT to save your setting.

Set area code

You can set one home area code and four local
area codes.
Press MENU -> press
1.
Caller ID log -> press SELECT.
2. Press / to scroll to Set area code ->
press SELECT.
3. Press / to scroll to Home area code or
Local area (1 - 4) -> press SELECT.
4. Enter the three-digit area code using the dialing keys,
then press SELECT to save your setting.
