Troubleshooting
The
WDU
has
been designed
to
give
years ol
trouble-
free
operation. lf a
problem
does
develop, follow
the
simple steps below before calling the
Customer
SeMce
Center
for
assistianoe.

that all connectiors

VTDU and

SV/DT
are
securely
lastened.

that
power cables

that wall connections are
made properly.

setup

the SV/DTs,
as
lollows.
- Both must
be
set to
sync,
full
duplex.

Review security
setup leatures
(i.e., SACS).

screen
goes
blank
after
initiation
ol
a

call,
verify
that both parties
have
the SV/DT
modem
set
at
'sync'
(synchronous).

dfficulty
establishing
a
video

consider
redueing
the data
rate
from 9.6

consider adjusting

modem
ouput
level
(see

dark during a video

try
adjusting
the
hightress
ol the display via
the
Setup
Menu.

lf the image is
not
as
sharp
as desired,
select the
Setup
Menu
and
increase
the
Picture
Qr.rality
level.
By
inaeasing
Picture Quality,
the motion
(Frame
Rate)
will
be reduced.
I
For
oplimal handsfree
operation,
only one end
of the
call
(party)
shouH be
in
the
handsfree mode.
