To install a printer hard disk onto the ISP: Using a flathead screwdriver, loosen the screws. Remove the screws attached to the printer hard disk mounting bracket, and then remove the bracket.

Insert the plug of the printer hard disk interface cable into the receptacle of the ISP. Note: The plugs and receptacles are color‑coded.

Extend the time to several days if the storage or transportation environment is very different from the printer environment. Thick paper may also require a longer conditioning period.

To gain a better understanding of the impact of printers on the environment, the company commissioned a number of life cycle assessments and found that paper was identified as the primary contributor (up to 80%) of carbon emissions caused throughout the entire life of a device (from design to end-of-life).
