To change the filter on a Dyson AM07:

1. Turn off and unplug the fan.
2. Locate the hidden filters—one near the bottom and one near the motor.
3. Remove the outer casing. It will only fit back one way, using the cutouts as guides.
4. Carefully take out the filters. If they are clean, there's no need to wash them. If dirty, clean them and ensure they are fully dry before reinstalling.
5. Check that wires are in place. If dislodged, carefully place them back.
6. Reassemble by reversing the disassembly steps. Align the cutouts and wire slots correctly.

Only clean or access the filters if you're experiencing problems, such as an F2 error.

I have just brought home the Am07 and assembled it according to the instructions. When I turned it on, the fan is really noisy especially above power 4. Is that normal. It is noisier than my cheapo fan that I used to have
