Installation

Location
• The air conditioner should be
located on a firm base to minimize
sound and vibrations. To achieve
a secure location, position the unit
in an even floor and solid enough
to take the load.
• The units has wheels to facilitate
the movement, but should only
move in soft and even surfaces.
Be careful when moving in
carpeted floors. Do not try to
push the unit above objects.
• The unit should be located close
to power outlet that is grounded.
• Never put any object that obstruct
the entrance or air outlet of the
unit.
• Leave a minimum of 30 cm of
space between the unit and the
wall to achieve optimum
efficiency.
Tools for the window kit installation
1. Phillips, medium size
2. Measuring tape or ruler
3. Scissors or Knife
4. Handsaw (In case the window kit
has to be cut because the window
is too narrow)

Window kit installation
The window kit has been design to
adapt to the majority of windows
"verticals" and "horizontal"standard.
But it might be necessary to
improvise or modify some aspects of
the installation procedures because of
certain type of windows.
Atención
Si la abertura de la ventana es menor que la longitud mínima mencionada del
kit extensible para ventana, córtelo de modo que se adapte a la abertura de la
ventana. Nunca corte el agujero del kit extensible para ventana.
Installation in a double-hung sash
window
1. Cut the foam seals(adhesive type)
to the proper lengths and attach
them to the window and stool.
2. Attach the window slider kit to the
window stool. Adjust the length of
the window slider kit according to
the width of window.
3. Cut the adjustable window slider
kit if the width of window is less
than 67.6cm. Open the window
sash and place the window slider
kit on the window stool.
