    The SwannEye HD mobile app is free to download for all Swann users, and is available from the respective Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Please note, make sure you download the HD version of the SwannEye mobile app! To install SwannEye HD on iPhone/iPad: 1.

If the auto-run menu isn’t enabled on your system, you can access the optical drive from “My Computer”, then select the PC folder on the CD and run the installer directly. If you have downloaded the SwannEye HD Pro installer file from our website, locate the file and then double-click it to start the installation process.

    Included with the camera is the SwannEye HD Pro software for the Mac. Have a look at the following instructions for installation onto your computer. The easiest way to install SwannEye HD Pro is to go to the App Store and search for SwannEye HD Pro. Once you find the app, click the “Free” button to install it on your Mac.

    Making Wi-Fi Connections The SwannEye HD Wi-Fi Security Camera works with your home Internet connection and wireless router. There are two ways you can follow depending on what type of wireless router you are using to set up the camera with your Wi-Fi network.

    If you have trouble connecting with WPS, or if your wireless router doesn’t support it, you can still connect the camera using the supplied Ethernet cable. You can choose to use either the SwannEye HD app on your mobile device or the SwannEye HD Pro software on your computer to manually configure the camera’s wireless settings.

    Customizing your Camera Settings The mobile app is great for on-the-fly monitoring, but it does not contain all the settings that can be configured. For this, it is recommended that you use the PC/Mac software. You can however change the Wi-Fi settings and enable video encryption. Please note that you can only change settings for cameras connected on the same LAN.

    Navigating the Login Screen The following instructions apply to both the PC and Mac versions of the SwannEye HD Pro software. When you run the software, you will be taken directly to the Login screen. User Name/Password: This is the username and password you’ll either have registered or will register to connect to your camera.

    Navigating the Devices Screen After signing in to your SwannEye account, you can access your camera under Devices at the left side of the screen. The Devices area shows you the camera(s) that are registered to your account (under “WAN”) and also the cameras that are connected to the same wired or wireless network (under “LAN”) as your computer.

    Navigating the Live View Interface The Live View Interface is the primary window for accessing the camera. From here, you can watch and record live video, capture snapshots, engage in 2-way communication using the intercom function (on certain models) and change various camera settings.

    Accessing the Camera via SwannEye Website If you don’t have access to the SwannEye Pro HD software on your PC or Mac, or availability to a mobile device, you can access your camera via the SwannEye website. Open your Internet browser and go to the following address - www.swanneye.com You can sign in using your existing account details or you can register a new account.

    Using the SwannEye Website Before you can access a live video stream from the camera, a plugin has to be downloaded and installed. The plugin is quite small and installation does not take long. Your operating system and/or virus protection program may ask you for permission to run the file.

    Q: I’m unable to create an account for my camera through the SwannEye HD app. A: Have you already registered your camera through the SwannEye HD Pro on your computer? You can just use the existing SwannEye account username and password to log in through the SwannEye HD app on your mobile device.
  • Page 35 A: If you’re trying to create a new account for a camera which has previously been registered with another account, you will first have to reset the account. Click on the “Reset Account” link on the www.swanneye.com website or the SwannEye HD Pro software. Once you reset your account, you will not be able to use the previous account details to log in.
