    MEDIAEDGE Decoder 3-3 Playback Verification The sample content of the MEDIAEDGE Decoder can be downloaded from our website (www.mediaedge.co.jp). Copy the downloaded data to a SD card (or USB storage) and insert it to the MEDIAEDGE Decoder. In menu mode (factory setting), the menu will be updated when the (CANCEL) key is pressed on the remote control, and the inserted SD card (or USB storage) will be displayed on the screen.

By pressing the (DISP) key on the remote control while the setup menu is being diaplayed, the monitor signal will cycle through NTSC(J)-NTSC(US)-PAL-NTSC(J).

    MEDIAEDGE ■ Verify the Setting and the Status If the MEDIAEDGE Decoder can be connected to a network, the detailed setting can be done from the Web console. Open the MEDIAEDGE Decoder by Web browser (Internet Explorer 8 (or later) that runs on Windows, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox).

After obtaining the IP address, detect the MEDIAEDGE Decoder. - The detected host name of the MEDIAEDGE Decoder will be displayed also in “other divice” of Windows 7 and Windows 8. When the MEDIAEDGE Decoder is started while DIPSW-3 is ON, despite of the setting status, IPv6 will be enabled and IPv4 will acquire IP automatically (AutoIP if unable to acquire with DHCP after 20 seconds) at the startup.

    When the file sharing is enabled, it is possible to access to the drive of the MEDIAEDGE Decoder via network. The drive set as writable will make it possible to update the content freely. However, when the file being played is deleted or overwritten, the playback will fail.
