Safety and Precautions

Thank you for purchasing your RADIX digital satellite receiver.
For your safety and proper operation, please take time reading this manual fully
before installing and operating the receiver.
We hope you will take advantage of the numerous functions with the help of this
manual.
The menu structure and specification can be changed without notice.
 MAINS SUPPLY
Use only 100 - 250VAC 50/60Hz.
 OVERLOADING
Do not overload a wall outlet, extension cord or adapter as this may result in
electric fire or shock.
 LIQUIDS
Do not be exposed to dripping or splashing. No objects filled with liquids, such
as vases, should be placed on the apparatus.
 CLEANING
Always disconnect the STB power cord from the outlet before cleaning.
Use a light damp cloth (no solvents) to dust off the STB.
 VENTILATION
The slots on top of the STB must be left uncovered to allow proper airflow to
the unit.
– Do not stand the STB on soft furnishings or carpets.
– Do not expose the STB to direct sunlight or do not place it near a
heater.
– Do not stack electronic equipments on top of the STB.
– Do not use this appliance in airtight area.
– Do not open the top cover.
 CABLE
Use standard certified cables to prevent any malfunction of the STB.
 ATTACHMENTS
Do not use any attachments that are not recommended as these may cause
hazard or damage to the STB.
 CONNECTION TO THE SATELLITE DISH LNB
Disconnect the STB from the mains power before connecting or disconnecting
the cables from the satellite dish. Failure to do so can damage the LNB.

    Recording 5.2 Using the Timeshift Recording You can temporarily record a Live TV program in built-in hard disk using Timeshift Recording (TSR) function and then watch it. It is possible to jump back up to 3 hours and starts to play from the previous watching point.

Follow the steps below to format the HDD: main menu → PVR Manager → Format HDD If you press the OK button on a warning message appears.     Common Interface You can enjoy not only scrambled channels using the Conditional Access Modules (CAM) with smart card, but also Free-To-Air channels. This receiver is equipped with a twin-slot Common Interface under DVB specification, accepting two different types of PCMCIA modules. Plug in the appropriate CI module together with a valid Smart Card.
