6.4.2 Change Camera Settings

This setting is concerned with the PTZ properties of the cameras. Here, you may select if you
want the camera to be PTZ enabled or disabled, and even select the protocol supported by the
PTZ camera. Address setting. Preset and pattern tracking setting is also modifiable here.
1. With PTZ option: specifies which camera have PTZ function
2. Protocol setting: specifies the control supported by the PTZ camera. Currently
supported PTZ protocols include Pelco D, Pelco P, Merit Li-Lin, DynaColor (DSCP), and
VISCA SNC-R225.
NOTE: VISCA SNC-R225 protocol does not have autopan or iris functionality. It also only supports 6 preset
positions.
3. Address setting: specifies the hardware to be used for PTZ Communication
4. Preset: add new preset or view/edit current PTZ settings for the presets of the selected
camera
5. Pattern tracking: view pattern tracking settings
6. Apply button: applies the changes made
7. Restore default: restore to original settings
