    GETTING STARTED KEYLESS ENTER-N-GO™ • The Keyless Enter-N-Go™ system is an enhancement to the vehicle's Key Fob. This feature allows you to lock and unlock the vehicle's door(s) without having to press the Key Fob lock or unlock buttons, as well as starting and stopping the vehicle with the press of a button.

If the engine fails to start, the starter will disengage automatically af- ter 10 seconds.

    GETTING STARTED REMOTE START • Press the REMOTE START button on the Key Fob twice within five seconds. Pressing the REMOTE START button a third time shuts the engine off. • To drive the vehicle, press the UNLOCK button, insert the Key Fob in the ignition and turn to the ON/RUN position.

    GETTING STARTED • A frayed or torn belt could rip apart in a collision and leave you with no protection. Inspect the belt system periodically, checking for cuts, frays, or loose parts. Damaged parts must be replaced immediately. Do not disassemble or modify the system.

Then, using body pressure, move forward and backward on the seat to be sure that the seat adjusters have latched.

    GETTING STARTED HEATED/VENTILATED SEATS Front Heated Seats • The controls for front heated seats are located on the center instrument panel below the climate controls and there are soft keys in the radio that control the front heated seats. • Press the switch once to select High- level heating.

    GETTING STARTED WARNING! • Persons who are unable to feel pain to the skin because of advanced age, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cord injury, medication, alcohol use, exhaus- tion or other physical conditions must exercise care when using the seat heater. It may cause burns even at low temperatures, especially if used for long periods of time.

    OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS • A long break-in period is not required for the engine and drivetrain (transmission and axle) in your vehicle. • Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km). After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or 55 mph (80 or 90 km/h) are desirable.

    OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL • The speed control switches are located on the steering wheel. Cruise ON/OFF • Push the ON/OFF switch to activate the Speed Control. • The cruise symbol will appear on the instrument cluster to indicate the Speed Control is on.
  • Page 32 OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE Accel/Decel • Push and hold the RESUME/ACCEL switch to accelerate or push and hold the SET/DECEL switch to decelerate the vehicle; release the switch to save the new set speed. • Once a speed is set, pushing the RESUME/ACCEL switch once or the SET/DECEL switch once will increase or decrease the set speed approximately 1 mph (2 km/h).
