CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

To Clean or Replace the Filter
If the filter is covered with dust, the airflow and the performance of the unit will be affected
and noise will occur. It is recommended that you check and clean the air filter every 2 weeks.
Turn off the machine and remove the tank. Vacuum the nylon filter or wash it with clean water
and dry it thoroughly.
Replace the activated charcoal filter every 3 to 6 months or when the fibre side has changed
from white to a dark colour.
Note
Don't leave a dirty charcoal filter in the unit or malfunction may occur.
REMOVE THE TANK AND PULL OUT THE FILTER
CLEAN THE NYLON FILTER AND REPLACE THE CARBON FILTER (DARKER SIDE UP),
IF REQUIRED. ENSURE THAT THE FILTER IS COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE REFITTING
IT TO YOUR DEHUMIDIFIER.
NEVER OPERATE YOUR DEHUMIDIFIER WITHOUT THE NYLON FILTER FITTED.

To Clean the Unit
Regularly clean the inlet and the outlet with a soft cloth or vacuum with a hose attachment
regularly as these areas gather dust easily.
Do not use petrol or other solvents.
Storage
Before storing clean the filter, and empty and dry the bucket. Store in the original packaging
in a cool dry place. We recommend that if you stop using your wall mounted dehumidifier for
an extended period that the product is covered to prevent dust entering your dehumidifier.
