CAUTION:
Your receiver may be equipped with a hard disk drive to store programs that
you record and to allow you to rewind and pause live TV. Any time the receiver
is powered on (power LED is illuminated) or a recording is in progress (the
record LED is illuminated) the hard disk drive is in use.
If you need to move the receiver, complete the following steps to allow the
hard disk drive to shut down properly. First, make sure that no recording is
in progress (record LED is off ). Then, turn off power by pressing the Power
key. Finally, unplug the unit and wait 10 seconds for the hard disk drive to
spin down (stop). At this point the unit can be moved safely.
You should handle this product with the same level of care you would use
when handling other electronics containing a hard disk drive, such as a
laptop computer or other hard disk drive-equipped devices.

How do I configure the ISB7500 DVR to record and play back from TV's in multiple rooms while connected via ethernet

The Cisco ISB7000 DVR is designed to use your in-home IP network for multi-room DVR functionality. To configure it for recording and playback on TVs in multiple rooms using Ethernet:

1. Connect the DVR to the Ethernet network: Plug an Ethernet (CAT-5) cable from your home network into the "Network" port on the back of the DVR.

2. Ensure all TVs are connected to the same network: Verify that all TVs you want to use for playback are connected to the same in-home IP network. This can be done through Ethernet or compatible network devices.

3. Activate Total Home DVR service: Contact your service provider to ensure the Total Home DVR service is activated. This service allows recording and playback on multiple TVs.

Once set up, you will be able to:
- Record shows on the DVR and play them back on any connected TV.
- Pause, fast-forward, and rewind recorded content from any room.
- Pause a recorded show in one room and resume it in another.
