However, as with other types of thermometer it is essential to use the Kaufman KM-25 thermometer correctly to obtain reliable and stable results. -

All objects, solid, liquid or gas, radiate energy whose intensity varies in relation to its temperature. The Kaufman KM-25 thermometer measures the temperature of a person based on the energy that they radiate. A temperature measurement is taken by the external probe on the device which constantly analyses and registers the ambient temperature. -
