Installation Notes:
To install the front wheel assembly,
install the brake disc between the brake
pads taking care not to damage the brake
pads and insert the axle through the left
fork leg.
Make sure that the lug (5) on the fork leg
is contacting the lug (6) on the
speedometer gear box. Tighten the front
axle bolt and axle pinch bolts to specified
torques.
Front axle bolt torque:
59 N·m (6.0 kgf·m , 44 lbf·ft)
Axle pinch bolts torque:
22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m , 16 lbf·ft)
After installing the wheel, apply the brake
several times and then check if the wheel
rotates freely. Recheck the wheel if the
brake drags or if the wheel does not
rotate freely.

If a torque wrench was not used for
installation, see your Honda dealer as
soon as possible to verify proper as-
sembly. Improper assembly may lead
to loss of braking capacity.
