Overview The Nextiva S2800e series is a partnership between Vicon and Verint. The Verint encoder installed on the Vicon main board provides IP functionality to the Vicon SurveyorVFT PTZ cameras. This way, camera users have the benefit of using the Nextiva software, including its IntelliStream virtual matrix.

With the ring concentric with the hole, slide the ring vertically along the support slots to obtain the best flush fit in the ceiling. Programming the S2800e Setting Network Parameters SConfigurator is a proprietary Verint tool letting you assign the initial IP parameters to the S2800e. Its latest version can be found on the Verint web site: www.verint.com/manuals. You need to copy its executable file (SConfigurator.exe) to the hard disk of your computer.

Uninstalling the Camera The S2800e camera drive can be easily uninstalled by simply pushing in the tabs to release the camera drive from the housing or the enclosure. A safety cord is always available to safely hang the camera drive or camera dome assembly while installing or uninstalling.

Using the Command Line Interface You may need to access the command line interface (CLI) of an edge device to perform troubleshooting tasks, typically with the assistance of a Verint customer service specialist. The available troubleshooting tasks include configuring quality of service (QoS).

Either liquid or spray cleaner (wax suitable for fine furniture) is acceptable. Note: Excessive rubbing of the lower dome surface can cause permanent scratches that may render the dome unusable.
