Write Protection
The disc has the capability of being write protected. This feature prevents the accidental
erasure of data previously recorded on the disc. The write protect is enabled when the write
protect notch on the jacket of the disc is covered (see Figure 1-4). When the notch is
uncovered, data can be written on the disc.
The write protect notch may be covered by placing a tab over the notch on the top side of
the disc jacket and then folding it over the edge to cover the notch on the bottom side.
Installation of the tab is shown in Figure 1-5.
