Inserting two R6 (size AA)
batteries into the remote
Note
If you do not use the remote for a long period of time,
remove the batteries to avoid possible damage from
battery leakage and corrosion.
Tip
When the remote no longer operates the system,
replace both batteries with new ones.

Using the remote

You can use the buttons shown below to operate
a Sony TV.
To Do this
Turn the TV on or Press TV ?/1.
off
Switch the TV's Press TV/VIDEO.
video input
Change the TV Press TV CH + or –.
channels
Adjust the volume Press TV VOL + or –.
of the TV speaker(s)

Attaching the speaker pads

Attach the supplied speaker pads to the bottom
of the speakers to stabilize the speakers and
prevent them from slipping.
When carrying this system
Perform the following procedure to protect
the CD mechanism.

Make sure that all discs are removed
from the system.

Press FUNCTION (or FUNCTION + or –
on the remote) repeatedly until "CD"
appears.

Hold down EDIT, then press ?/1 until
"LOCK" appears.

Unplug the power cord.
