Tip
With normal use, the batteries should last for
about six months. When the remote no longer
operates the system, replace both batteries with
new ones.

Attaching the speaker pads

Attach the supplied speaker pads at each
corner on the bottom of the speakers and
subwoofer to prevent them from slipping.
 pads for the front speaker of
SS-GNZD and 4 pads (MHC-
GNZ444D only) for the subwoofer
When carrying this system
Perform the following procedure to
protect the DVD mechanism.
Use buttons on the unit for the
operation.

Press /
to turn on the
system, then press DVD 

Make sure that no disc is loaded
in the system and check that "NO
DISC" appears.

Hold down DVD 

press /
until "STANDBY"
appears in the display. Then,
"LOCK" appears in the display.

Unplug the power cord.

