    GETTING STARTED KEY FOB Locking And Unlocking The Doors/Liftgate • Press the LOCK button once to lock all the doors and the liftgate. Press the UNLOCK button once to unlock the driver’s door only and twice within five seconds to unlock all the doors and liftgate.

    GETTING STARTED CAUTION! • If your vehicle battery becomes low or dead, your Key Fob will become locked in the ignition. • Do not attempt to remove the Key Fob while in this condition, damage could occur to the Key Fob or ignition module. Only remove the emergency key for locking and unlocking the doors.

    GETTING STARTED SEAT BELT • Be sure everyone in your vehicle is in a seat and using a seat belt properly. • Position the lap belt across your thighs, below your abdomen. To remove slack in the lap portion, pull up a bit on the shoulder belt. To loosen the lap belt if it is too tight, tilt the latch plate and pull on the lap belt.

    GETTING STARTED • If the Airbag Warning Light is not on during starting, stays on, or turns on while driving, have the vehicle serviced by an authorized service center immediately. • Refer to the Owner's Manual on the DVD for further details regarding the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).

    GETTING STARTED Installing The Child Restraint Using The Vehicle Seat Belts • To install a child restraint, first pull enough of the seat belt webbing from the retractor to route it through the belt path of the child restraint and slide the seat belt latch plate into the buckle.

    GETTING STARTED 50/50 Third Row Folding Seat – If Equipped • Either or both third row seats can be folded forward to increase the rear cargo storage area. • After opening the liftgate, either seat can be folded flat by pulling up the release handle on the back of the seat.

    GETTING STARTED HEATED/VENTILATED SEATS Front Heated Seats • The controls for front heated seats are located in the climate controls near the center of the instrument panel. • Press the switch once to select High-level heating. Press the switch a second time to select Low-level heating.

    GETTING STARTED WARNING! • Persons who are unable to feel pain to the skin because of advanced age, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cord injury, medication, alcohol use, exhaustion or other physical conditions must exercise care when using the seat heater. It may cause burns even at low temperatures, especially if used for long periods of time.
  • Page 25 GETTING STARTED Power - Tilt/Telescoping Steering Column • The power tilt/telescoping steering control is located below the turn signal/wiper/washer/high beam lever on the steering column. • To tilt the steering column, move the power tilt/telescoping control up or down as desired. To lengthen or shorten the steering column, pull the control toward you or push the control away from you as desired.

  • Page 29 OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE Accel/Decel • Once a speed is set, pushing the RES + button once or the SET – button once will increase or decrease the set speed approximately 1 mph (2 km/h). Resume • To resume a previously selected set speed in memory, push the RES + button and release.
