    CODE REFERENCE GAS CODE REFERENCE In the United States and Canada, follow all local codes when installing the unit. In the absence of local codes, the installation must conform to the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 latest version, or the Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1 latest version, as applicable.

    RESTRAINT REQUIREMENT – GAS OVEN(S) ON CASTERS, U.S. AND AUSTRALIA NOTE: TANDEM OVENS REQUIRE TWO (2) RESTRAINING DEVICES PER BOTTOM DECK – ONE FOR EACH STAND. 1. The installation shall be made with a gas connector that complies with the Standard for Connectors for Movable Gas Appliances, ANSI Z21.69 latest version, and a quick disconnect device that complies with the Standard for Quick Disconnect Devices for Use With Gas Fuel, ANSI Z21.42 latest version.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE for DOUBLE-DECK TANDEM OVEN READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE WARNING: ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL THE OVEN. PERSONNEL QUALIFIED TO WORK WITH ELECTRICITY AND PLUMBING MUST PERFORM THE INSTALLATION. THE SAFE AND PROPER OPERATION OF THE UNIT IS DEPENDENT UPON WARNING: PROPER INSTALLATION.
  • Page 17 INSTALLATION OVERVIEW Familiarize yourself with the installation process as outlined in the manual and note the unique requirements of your particular model. Select electricians and plumbers who have experience installing conveyor ovens and food service equipment. For installation in the state of Massachusetts: Installation of this oven must be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter.

  • Page 21 6. Lift oven from Control Box end to lay oven on its flat side (side opposite of the control box). Slide oven onto two 4x4’s. 7. Pivot oven slightly backwards and place dolly under lifted end. Carefully maneuver oven onto dolly. Strap oven to dolly.
  • Page 22 8. Remove each oven from its dolly in the reverse order as it was placed. 9. Install the first two ovens on their respective stand bases. This may be accomplished by opening the oven door and carefully inserting the forks of the genie lift into the oven cavity. Lift and place each oven onto each base.
  • Page 23 11. Replace Heat Shield Retainer on top-front of upper ovens. Install oven tops onto both upper units using previously removed screws. Oven Top Heat Shield Retainer 12. Place pipe clamp across the front center and back center of the oven set. At this point the clamps can be tightened bringing the ovens together (flush) while keeping proper oven alignment.
  • Page 24 13. Tighten (completely) the middle-front and middle-back Stand Joining Plates with a 5/16” Allen Wrench. Tighten down middle joining plates. 14. Drill 11/64” holes (totaling 24) for the Oven Joining Brackets and install on top, center and bottom of ovens both front and back.

    FINGER HOUSING BAFFLE PLATE ADJUSTEMENTS The finger housing has a baffle mounted inside to balance the air flow to the rear and front of the oven. If the product is cooking more or less in the rear of the oven than in the front, it is possible the finger housing baffle needs to be adjusted.

    TEMPERATURE SETPOINTS For Tandem ovens there is one setpoint. To enter the setpoint mode, press the TIME & TEMP buttons together and hold for 5 seconds. Pressing the TEMP push-button, the display will show the current setting. Pressing the UP or DOWN push-buttons will raise or lower the temperature to the desired setting.

During the warranty period, Lincoln shall, at Lincoln’s option, repair, or replace parts determined by Lincoln to be defective in material or workmanship, and with respect to services, shall re-perform any defective portion of said services.
