Your first week with your new phone
Bypassing the screen lock for Quick call
If you've set a screen lock with credentials, you can set HTC Butterfly 2 to skip the
security screen so you can immediately place calls with Quick call.
1. Go to Settings, and then tap Display & gestures.
2. Tap Motion Launch gestures.
3. Select the Bypass Security screen option.
Turning Motion Launch on or off
Motion Launch is on by default. You can turn it off in Settings.
1. Go to Settings, and then tap Display & gestures.
2. Tap Motion Launch gestures.
3. Clear the Motion Launch gestures option to turn it off, or select it to turn it back
on.

HTC Dot View

Interacting with HTC Butterfly 2 through HTC Dot View
HTC Dot View is not just a protective case for HTC Butterfly 2. Even when the case is
closed, you can wake up your phone and see the time, weather, and basic
notifications, as well as make and answer calls.

Making a call with Quick call
Up to 3 recently received or dialed numbers will be
displayed. Drag a number up to call that number.
While the screen is on, swipe left or right to switch
between notifications.
