4 Plug in the power cord and turn on the TV by pressing Power button on the remote control or on the TV. The
updating starts automatically. While updating, the indicator LED is purple then it turns to blue in about 45 seconds.
Purple LED
Two LEDs on the Main Board light when updating is occurring.
5 The LED turns red after 3 minutes, which indicates that updating is complete.
6 Turn off the TV and unplug the power cord.
7 Disconnect the IDE power cable from the Main Board then take off the IDE card.
8 Plug in the power cord. The LED should be red, indicating standby mode.
9 Turn on the TV by pressing Power button. Check the software version in the OSD menu by selecting System and
then Software Version. Make sure it is the right version.
10 Replace the back cover.

RS232 Server

With this method, the TV system can download the updating data and tools from a serial port communication server
and then update the flash memory automatically.
Dependency
PC with a Windows system which is able to run serial downloading server (<sdserver.exe >), which is called Server
here after.
The bootloader supports RS232 updating. (All PL4260N and PL5060N have this type of boot loader.)
