Section 5: Contacts

The Contacts menu is used to manage your contact list. You can store
names, phone numbers and other information in both your SIM card
and your phone's memory, which are physically separate but can both
be used to create the contact list.
When you change phones, numbers stored in your SIM card memory
are automatically available with the new phone, whereas numbers
stored in the phone's memory must be re-entered or transferred using
a data kit accessory. However, contacts stored on the phone can
include additional details that can not be stored on the SIM card.

Add New Contact

Use the following procedures to store a new contact to your phone.
Note: Your phone can be set to automatically save contacts to your Phone,
automatically save to your SIM Card, or Phone and SIM Card. To change the
setting, see "Management" on page 50.
Storing a Number in the Phone's Memory
From Idle mode, press Menu and select Contacts → Add new

Enter a first name in the First name text box. Press the Down
