Now, open up the laptop and using a small screwdriver, push back the 7 sliding tabs as shown while lifting up on the keyboard. Set the keyboard towards the screen to access the keyboard cable lockdown connector. This final step is unlocking the keyboard cable from the motherboard. To do this, simply pull the lockdown clip outward approx. 1/32 of an inch. Do not for the clip outward as it can break very easily. Once opened the keyboard cable will slide out.
