4. Apply shorting solder to the PU flexible cable before
disconnecting it from the connector CN12.
5. Disconnect the flexible cable from the connector CN12,
and remove the flexible cable Holder.
6. Remove the washer and Arm. (Be careful not to lose
the spring B.)
7. Remove the screw, spring A, and Collar.
8. Remove the Carriage Mech. Assy.
9. Apply shorting solder to the PU flexible cable before
disconnecting it from the Connector.
10. Disconnect the PU flexible cable from the
Connector.
11. Move the PU Unit(PX1MP) to the left side slightly
by turning the Gear.
12. Pull out the spindle motor Support Wheel Unit
upwards to remove it.
13. Remove the Spring.
14. Slide the holder to make it easier to remove the
Screw Unit.
15. While pressing the shaft holder in the direction
shown by the black arrow in the right figure, remove
the PU Unit(PX1MP) together with the Screw Unit.
Note:
To assemble the PU Unit(PX1MP), insert the Spring
on the PU rear between the PU Unit(PX1MP) and
the Guide first.
