Chapter 1 Product Introduction Chapter 1 Product Introduction Overview MEC4004 is a sort of fanless Core 2 Duo embedded PC with low power consumption; the alalloy chassis has goodperformance on airproof, dustproof, heatdispersion and antivibration; the motherboard uses EC41811LD2NA board, which adopts Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 or L7500 processor with low power consumption; Intel GLE960/GME965+ICH8MM chipsets, integrating GMA×3100 graphic processing, supporting maximum shared display memory of 384MB; it also supports VGA and DVI independent dualdisplay. The plugging of CF card could be realized outside the chassis without opening the chassis, therefore, it is rather convenient to install and use. The board supports one PC/104plus expansion interface, watchdog timer and an 8lane twoway digital IO interface. It provides with two Gigabit Ethernet ports and four serial ports, among which COM1 and COM2 support RS232/RS422/RS485 transmission mode. MEC4004 is a fanless embedded PC with highperformance, which is small in size and low in power consumption.
