1. Assembling Jig Remote Control
By using the jig remote control, the picture and deflection of the unit can be mostly adjusted.
Parts Name
: RC–6VT06
Parts Number : 86-LB4-951-010
Preparation : Modify the hidden keys so that they can be pressed easily, using a jig remote control/RC-6VT06 (TV-C142/86-LB4-951-010).
2 modification parts (as shown in the figure below)

When FINISH key found on the jig remote controller is pressed, the integrating time of aging mode is reset.
* This key is not used for normal repair.
2. Details of Aging Mode Screen
Press the TEST key once to enter the aging mode.
During aging mode, the auto power-off function for input absence is deactivated.
This mode is used for applying aging (warm-up) before CRT adjustment.
Following display appears on CRT.
Details of Display
a. AFTS Curve Status Display (AFT OUT, AFT LOW, AFT IN, AFT HIGH)
The status of AFTS curve: high, suitable, and low is displayed as UP, OK, and DN respectively.
