System installer must adhere to Article 820-40 of the NEC that
provides guidelines for proper grounding and specifies that the
cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the
building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical.
1. UNPACKING and HANDLING
Each unit is shipped assembled and factory tested.
Ensure that all accessories are removed from the container before discarding packing material
2. MECHANICAL INSPECTION
Inspect the front and rear of the equipment for shipping damage. Make sure the equipment is
clean, and no connectors are broken, damaged, or loose.

3. SAFETY
The CT-HDVD-LINK has been tested for conformance to safety regulations and requirements.
However, like all electronic equipment the CT-HDVD-LINK should be used with care. Please
read and follow the instructions below to protect yourself from possible injury and to minimize
the risk of damage to the unit.
Follow all instructions and warnings marked on the units.
Do not attempt to service this unit yourself except where explained in this manual.
Provide proper ventilation and air circulation and do not use near water.
Place away from objects that might damage the device.
Place the units on a stable surface.
Use only the power adapter and power cords and connection cables designed for this
unit.
Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners to clean the units. Always unplug the power to
the devices before cleaning.
