The screw cap for the c o m i b n 'filler ope-
ling has a vent hole. This hole must al-
ways be kept cleer.
The reservoir is made of transparent mate-
rial so that the level of the brake fluid can
be checked easily. The level shc.uld al-
ways be between the maximum and mini-
mum marks.
The level of the fluid, tends to'sick slightly
when the vehicle is used due to the auto-
matic adjustment of lining wear which

kes place. This is cjuite normal.
However, if the le~ersinks noticeably in a
short time this indicates that fl?lid is being
lost somewhere in the system due to
leakage. You should then take the vehicle
to a V.A.G workshop at once and have the
brake system checked.
