Device menu
Beep
The recorder gives sound feedback about button operations
or errors.
Author name
A keyword, such as the author's name can be assigned
to every recording. The keyword can be used to identify
recordings and automatic file routing in Philips SpeechExec
software.
Acoustic feedback
Allows you to listen to the recording while forwarding or
rewinding.
Power save
Set the time to enter Power save mode.
Date & time
Set the date and the time.
Silent mode
When the silent mode is enabled, the background light, the
device beep and the record lamp are disabled.
Format card
Format the memory card and delete all files on the recorder.
Card info
Display a variety of information related to the memory card.
System info
Display system information, such as model number, serial
number and firmware version.
USB quick charge
When the USB quick charging is deactivated, charging the
batteries is performed at a slower speed. Disable the USB
quick charge function, if the USB port of your computer does
not supply enough power capacity (500 mA).
Reset settings
Return the menu settings to their initial state.
