The supplied high-performance, smart
Lithium-ion battery pack provides 7.2 VDC at
1450 mAH (minimum) capacity.
When fully discharged, the battery fully
recharges within three hours while installed
in the terminal. An 80% charge capacity is
reached within one hour.
The terminal can be connected to an AC/DC
power supply indefinitely without causing
damage to the battery.
Caution
When using the Lipman-supplied
AC/DC Power Adapter, the Lithium-
ion battery pack must be installed in
the terminal.
In typical use, the lifespan of the battery pack
exceeds 500 charge cycles, after which,
operating time may very slowly decrease.
The battery pack has a self-discharge rate,
and when not in use, it loses approximately
1% of its charge per day.
Replace the battery pack when the charge
capacity is too weak for normal operation.
If you intend not to use your NURIT 8000 for
an extended period of time, remove the
battery pack from the terminal.
