Setting the frequency in WebCam Companion

The electric power frequency (shown in the number of hertz) used in
your country/region may not be the same as the ones that are used in
other countries/regions. In WebCam Companion, the Frequency setting
in Web Camera Settings is determined by the country/region settings in
your Windows operating system. Therefore, when you travel to another
country/region, you need to check if the frequency is set correctly, to
reduce the interference of noise and fringe. To do so, follow the steps
below.
1. Launch WebCam Companion.
2. Click Web Camera Settings .
3. In the Property Page tab, check the frequency setting under Frequency.
If you find a flicker phenomenon on the Web Cam screen, make sure the
frequency setting meets your local standard.
The settings of the electric power frequency may vary by country/region.
