NOTE: A soft whining noise can be heard from the pump, and when it performs a self-diagnosis, the high/low beam and the instrument lighting will flash briefly. This is completely normal.

Adjusting washer nozzles

The washer jets should spray the windshield as shown in the illustration. Use the edge of a small screwdriver to adjust the nozzles if necessary.

Please use caution to avoid damaging the paintwork.

Washer fluid reservoir

The washer fluid reservoir is located in the engine compartment and holds approx. 3.2 US qts. (3.0 liters).

During cold weather, the reservoir should be filled with windshield washer solvent containing anti-freeze.
