Insert the Battery
Insert the battery into the camera.
• If you are using the COOLPIX S61 0, charge the battery before
inserting it into the camera.

Open the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.

Insert the battery.
Use the battery to push the orange battery latch in
the direction indicated by the arrow

and fully
insert the battery

When the battery is fully
inserted, the battery latch will lock it in place.

Inserting the Battery
Inserting the battery upside down or backwards could
damage the camera. Be sure to check the battery is in the
correct orientation.
