CONNECT ROUTER TO THE INTERNET
a.
Connect the Router to your broadband internet connection.
b.
Connect power adapter to the Router's power connector, then plug it into the power wall
outlet.
c.
Start Router by pressing the On/Off button. Check LED is on (green) and indicating power
is supplied to the Router. Starting the Router takes ca 30 seconds.
3.1
CONNECT TO THE ADSL BROADBAND SERVICE
a.
Use an ADSL splitter with built-in micro filter when there is a single wall outlet which must
provide connectivity for both the Router and telephone. If phone and Router is using the
same phone wall outlet, connect the Router as shown in picture (2).
b.
When using phone and Router in separate wall outlets, place the splitter in between
telephone and phone outlet, and then connect the Router straight into the wall outlet.
c.
If not using telephone, the splitter is not needed.
d.
Operators' VPI and VCI identifiers are preconfigured in the Router. The Router will auto
connect to your operator. Establishing a connection takes ca 1-2 minutes (LED is
blinking).
e.
Check LED is on and indicating connection. If LED is not on, see further instructions (6).
f.
When INET is on, the Router is connected to the Internet.
3.2
CONNECT TO THE ETHERNET BROADBAND SERVICE
To connect the Router to your Ethernet connection, use the WAN port (default setting).
a.
Plug network cable to the Router's WAN port (marked red) and to the Ethernet wall outlet
(RJ-45).
b.
The Router will auto connect to the Ethernet. Check LED is on and indicating connection.
c.
When INET LED is briefly on, the Router is connected to the Internet.
You can also connect the Router via WAN port to your DSL Modem or Cable Modem, and use it
as a wireless router.

Line: Plug line cable in the phone wall outlet.
ii. Modem: Plug line cable to the Router.
iii. Phone: Plug telephone line to the PHONE port of the splitter.
