Cable connectors are located in the Rear Panel of the base unit.

Cash Drawer Interface
The usable (external) length of all 7448 Workstation cables is less than the total
length, because a portion of the cable remains inside the base unit when
connected. The usable length can also vary according to the configuration of the
components. The tables on the following pages identify the total length of each
cable.
