MSS APE 50 (2012) Maintenance Disassemble the carburettor removing the mini- mum jet, the needle, the gaskets, the petrol filter. REVISION The carburettor is completely decomposed, check all calibrated parts (main jets, idle jets, emulsifiers tubes, etc.). The value of these calibrated parts must corre- spond to the adjustment data prescribed for the type of carburettor.

MSS APE 50 (2012) Maintenance Remove the filter and check its state of wear. Replace if damaged. Clean with high flammability solvent and dry with compressed air. CAUTION NEVER RUN THE ENGINE WITHOUT THE AIR FILTER. THIS WOULD RESULT IN AN EXCESSIVE WEAR OF THE PISTON AND CYLINDER.

MSS APE 50 (2012) Maintenance Differential oil replacement LEVEL CHECK Start the engine and stop it after having been run- ning for about 1 minute at least. Remove the control rod and check the oil level. The oil level should be between the two notches of the maximum and minimum.

WARNING DO NOT REMOVE THE OIL COVER IMMEDIATELY AFTER AN ACTIVITY WITH THE ENGINE AT FULL SPEED AND/OR WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING. THE HEATED OIL MAY LEAK, WITH THE RISK OF BURNING.
