USING DND (DO NOT
DISTURB)
You can lock out all incoming calls and
pages when you do not want to be dis-
turbed. Simply press
DND/DELETE
appears on the display and your Speak-
erphone does not accept incoming calls,
intercom calls, or pages (see "Using In-
tercom and Paging" on Page 23). But,
you can still make calls and use the in-
tercom from your telephone.
To release DND, simply press
LETE
again.
Notes:
• If you call a station that is using
DND, you hear a busy signal.
• If you are using DND when an inter-
com call comes in, the intercom indi-
cator blinks rapidly and the caller's
number appears on the display. If
you choose to answer the call, press
INTERCOM
.
USING TONE SERVICES
ON A PULSE LINE
Some special services, such as bank-by-
phone, require tone signals. If you have
pulse service, you can still use these
special tone services by following these
steps.
Dial the service's main number as usual,
then simply press
TONE/
20
service answers. Any additional keys
you press are sent as tone signals.

After you complete the call, hang up the
handset or press
phone automatically resets to pulse dial-

ing.

MEMORY DIALING

You can store up to 40 numbers in the
Speakerphone's
Then you can quickly dial these num-
bers by pressing one or two buttons.
Each number you store can be up to 15
digits long.

Storing a Number into Memory

Each of the phone's 20 memory loca-
tions can have up to 2 phone numbers
stored in it — into either an upper or low-
er memory position.
