STANDBY/ON
1 STANDBY/ON
(loading a cassette also turns power on).
2 Cassette Loading Slot is where cassette is
inserted; door closes, "cassette loaded" indicator
lights up on front display panel.
3 DISPLAY Button switches display between
clock time, tape remaining time, counter
readings, preset position*.
* Preset position is not displayed during playback.
4 Rewind [REW] Button rewinds the tape
initiates high-speed reverse search.
5 PLAY Button plays back tape
Pause, Still, Slow, Search modes.
6 Fast Forward Button fast-forwards tape
initiates high-speed forward search.
7 SP/LP Button selects tape speed.
8 REC LINK Button enables/disables the Auto
Satellite Prog Rec mode.
9 REC LINK Indicator lights when the Auto
Satellite Rec mode is engaged.
