USING THE HANDSET

5.1.
Operating in Standby Mode
Standby mode is the starting point for all other operations. To choose from this mode,
press the appropriate scroll keys as many times as required, in order to view the
various menus, which you have access to.
Each of the features operates in the same way; e.g. the menu feature operates as
follows:

Switching ON/OFF

When the handset is off it can be switched on by pressing the
2 second, or when you place the handset in the charger. The handset beeps and a
welcome text appears in the display.
It is possible that the handset does not switch on because the battery is low. Place
the handset in a charger. The handset switches on automatically after approximately
15 minutes.
To switch the handset off:
Press the OK key for at least 3 seconds.
