NOTE:
If running Web Jetadmin, do not use the Install Network Printer Wizard or Download Manager for
Jetdirect utilities. Web Jetadmin and both utilities use TCP/IP port 427. Both utilities do not need to be
installed on the storage server or File Print Appliance platform if the platform is hosting Web Jetadmin.

Web-based printer management and Internet printing

Internet printing is enabled by default on the print server and File Print Appliance. Internet printing
consists of two main components:
• Web-based printer management with the ability to administer, connect to, and view printers
through a web browser.
• Internet printing enabling users to connect to a printer using the printer's URL.
