This is caused by a power surge or power failure.
When power levels return to normal, the induction
hob will reset.
E1, E2, E4, E5, Eb, Ec

Richards for more information.
The induction hob contains no user repairable or
replaceable parts.
Medical implants
The induction hob generates short range
magnetic fields. If any user or person in close
proximity to the induction hob has any active
implants or a pacemaker, please consult your
doctor before using the product.
Notes
The induction hob should be placed at least 10cm
away from the wall on all sides.
Do not use in a high temperature environment
such as near a conventional oven or gas stove.
Do not place metallic objects such as knives,
forks, spoons and lids on the hotplate as they will
get hot quickly.
Do not use the induction hob to heat unopened
cans of food, even in a water bath, to avoid the
risk of pressurised explosion.
Do not use on a metal table or surface.
Do not use on a carpet or table cloth as this may
block the air vents.
Do not heat a pan on the induction hob without
food inside, this may cause damage to the
induction hob or pan.
Never unplug the induction cooker during
use.
If the surface of the induction hob becomes
cracked, switch off and unplug at the mains to
avoid electic shock. Contact Morphy Richards for
advice.
During use never place paper, aluminim foil, cloth
or any other objects onto the Heating Zone as the
may be indirectly heated.
The induction hob is not intended for use by
means of an external timer or control.
Do not leave metal spoons or utensils in the pan
whilst cooking, they will heat up by the induction
process.

Care and cleaning

Wipe away any spillages on the control panel or
Heating Zone

with a damp cloth.
For more stubborn or oily stains use toothpaste
or another neutral cleaner. Clean any residue left
after cleaning away with a soft damp cloth.
After a long time of use some dust or other dirt
may be accumulated at the air / entry vent. The
main body and air vents can be cleaned with a
dry cloth or flexible brush.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE MAIN UNIT IN WATER
