Using your induction hob

Place an induction compatible pan onto the
Heating Zone (1). Do not heat an empty pan as
it can damage the surface.
Press the Increase Button (12). The hob will
begin to heat to level 6 (which is the default
setting).
To instantly increase the power to the maximum
press the Boost Button (6).
WARNING
BURN HAZARD: ALWAYS USE AN OVEN MITT
TO PROTECT YOUR HAND FROM CONTACT
WITH HOT SURFACES AND STEAM DURING
USE.
DO NOT USE METAL UTENSILS WITH THE
INDUCTION HOB AS THEY WILL GET HOT.

Before first use

Before using, use the induction hob to boil a pan
of water 3-4 times to help burn off any
manufacturing residue from the induction hob.
During this process a slight smell and a small
amount of smoke can occur, this is normal.
In order for the induction hob to work, you will
need to use a pan that is suitable for induction
heating. (See cooking with induction on page 4).
