Batteries installed incorrectly can cause battery
leakage and corrosion that will damage the remote
control



Installing Batteries

Before you can use the remote control, you must install two AA (1.5-volt)
alkaline batteries:

Slide open the battery door on the back of the remote control.

à Insert the batteries in the direction indicated on the inside of the
battery compartment.

Slide the battery door closed until it snaps into place.

à Point the remote control at the DCT 5000, press
press . If the DCT 5000 does not turn on, check the orientation

of the batteries or replace with new batteries
