My scale is giving me an "OUt2" error, then immediately shuts off. I've tried different new batteries and get same result. Can this be repaired/corrected?

The "OUt2" error on a Hornady GS-1500 scale indicates a malfunction likely caused by a damaged load cell. Recalibration may be attempted using a 100g calibration weight, but if the error prevents calibration, the scale cannot be repaired by the user and the load cell is likely beyond repair. Replacing the scale may be necessary.

@Mr. Anderson . Thank you for the quick response. Unfortunately, not the news I wanted to hear, but at least now I know what's happening. Regards, Ed
