9. To close the CD lid, press the CLOSE button.
Note: Do not push or forcibly close the CD lid on the main unit by hand. Press
the CLOSE button.
This unit allows you to individually program two different alarms, Alarm 1 and
Alarm 2, to sound at different times. You may choose to wake to the CD track
of your choice, the radio or a buzzer for each alarm. You may also choose from
three different alarm modes that control on which days the alarm will sound:
Seven-Day Alarm mode (Sunday - Saturday); Six-Day Alarm mode (Monday -
Saturday); or Weekday Alarm mode (Monday - Friday).
Setting Alarm 1
1. To open the CD lid and access the control panel, press the OPEN
on the top of the main unit. The CD lid automatically powers open.
2. To enter the alarm setting mode for Alarm 1, press and hold the ALARM 1 but-
ton. The hour flashes.
3. To set the alarm hour, press the TUNE UP or TUNE DOWN button to increase
or decrease the hour.
Note: If the clock is in 12-hour mode, AM or PM is indicated on the left side of
the LCD. (See Stereo Setup above.)
4. To confirm the alarm hour setting, press the CLOCK SET button. The alarm
minutes flash.
5. To set the alarm minutes, press the TUNE UP or TUNE DOWN button to
increase or decrease the alarm minutes.
6. To confirm the minute setting, press the CLOCK SET button. The alarm mode
flashes along the top of the LCD.
7. To select the alarm mode, press the TUNE UP or TUNE DOWN button until
the desired mode flashes. For the Seven-Day Alarm mode, "SUN MON TUE
WED THU FRI SAT" flashes on the LCD; for the Six-Day Alarm mode, "MON
TUE WED THU FRI SAT" flashes on the LCD; for the Weekday Alarm mode,
"MON TUE WED THU FRI" flashes on the LCD.
8. To confirm the alarm mode, press the CLOCK SET button. The alarm type flashes.
9. To select the alarm type, press the TUNE UP or TUNE DOWN button until the
desired alarm type flashes. "BUZZER" flashes to wake to a beeping alarm;
"CD" flashes to wake to the CD track of your choice; and "TUNER" flashes to
wake to the currently tuned radio station.
