The car seat may acquire some wear and tear over the years, this will result in parts requiring replacement, please contact our customer services department for replacement parts. Make sure all hard or plastic parts are stored away when not in use and therefore cannot be misplaced. During cold winter conditions take care that any change of clothing has not reduced the tension and effectiveness of the car seat harness.

  • Page 8 Please Note: that your car seat is designed to fit only with a 3 point lap and diagonal seat belt and must not at any time be fitted using only a 2 point lap belt (1). IMPORTANT! Only use the red adult seat belt guides (G) and no other load bearing points. Check if the adult seat belt buckle is forward of the seat belt guides (G) on the car seat, or is in a position that interferes with the seat belt fixing points, as it may not be possible to get a secure installation of the car seat. If this is the case, please try another seating position in the vehicle.

    LEG IS IN CONTACT WITH THE FLOOR OF THE VEHICLE AND THE INDICATOR IS GREEN. To adjust the support leg, pull the RED support leg lock (T) located on the of the support leg and extend the lower section of the support leg until it reaches the vehicle floor (8). When the support leg is locked into position you will hear a “click”. If the lock does not engage, extend the leg to the next lock position.
  • Page 10 either side of the support leg at the front of the car seat base, and push the support leg towards the seat base to extend the isofix attachment points (15). Line the isofix attachment points with the isofix latches in the vehicle seat (16), and push the isofix points into the isofix latches until you hear a “click”. When the isofix points are correctly attached, the isofix connection indicators (S) will turn green (17) if the indicators remain red you must release and re-connect the isofix points, to do this see section “REMOVING THE BASE - when attached to the ISOFIX points”. Once the isofix points are correctly attached, push the base towards the vehicle seat backrest until firm (18). IMPORTANT! Always use the support leg when the car seat base is fitted into the vehicle. WARNING! ENSURE THAT AT ALL TIMES THE SUPPORT LEG IS IN CONTACT WITH THE FLOOR OF THE VEHICLE AND THE INDICATORS ARE GREEN.

    Firstly make sure that the seat is in its fully reclined position. First click the metal bar on the backrest side of the car seat into the base of the Varioguard and then the frontal side (9). Each time you should hear a clear CLICK. Make sure that the safety indica- tor (V1) fully turned GREEN.

    INSTALLING YOUR CHILD IN THE CAR SEAT Firstly open the buckle by pressing the red button in the centre of The buckle (26). Then sit your child in the car seat, passing their arms through the shoulder straps. Bring the harness connectors together and insert into the buckle until you hear a “click” (28).

    Harness Adjustment’. CHECKLIST WARNING! A CORRECTLY ADJUSTED HARNESS IS ESSENTIAL FOR YOUR CHILD’S PROTECTION. THERE SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN A FINGERS WIDTH BETWEEN THE HARNESS AND YOUR CHILD. However safe a child seat is, however well built it is, your child’s safety depends on you carrying out the following checks before every journey. - Set the harness correctly and to the correct shoulder height (22 - 29)! RECLINING YOUR CAR SEAT (Forward Facing only) For rearward facing your child car seat should be in the fully upright position only. For forward facing your child car seat can be reclined in a choice of four positions to make it comfortable for your child (30). The recline lever (P) is located under the front edge of the seat shell.
